DEAL WITH NATIONAL BANK OF DUBAI CONFIRMS LEVEL FOUR'S SUCCESS IN THE MIDDLE EAST

London, 9th October 2006 – Level Four Software, a leading provider of ATM software solutions, has been selected by the National Bank of Dubai (NBD), one of the largest banks in the United Arab Emirates, for the implementation of Level Four’s Bunch Note Acceptance (BNA) and Cheque Processing Module (CPM) simulators.

Building on their positive experience with their existing implementation of Level Four’s ATM Channel Development Suite for testing and post implementation analysis, NBD will be extending their relationship with Level Four Software to include the BNA and CPM modules. These plug-ins will enable NBD to effectively simulate a wider range of self-service transactions thereby optimising the timelines required for testing.

“Since the implementation of Level Four’s technology in 2005, we have experienced higher testing efficiency. This, combined with a good level of support from Level Four and their proven installation capabilities, made the next step a logical decision,” said Sue Evans, Chief Information Officer of National Bank of Dubai. “With our goal to expand our self-service network and offer quality products to our valued customers, it is critical that the delivery of new services to the ATM is fast and efficient. With these new plug-ins, we look forward to being able to introduce new services to our customers, rapidly.”

Issa Keshek, Regional Manager of Level Four Software in the Middle East, said, “We are delighted that NBD has decided to continue with Level Four by implementing our BNA and CPM plug-ins. As one of largest banks in this region, this contract reinforces our growing reputation in the Middle East and is proof of yet another satisfied Level Four customer.”

BNA enables complete end-to-end testing of bunch note cash deposit transactions. Using BNA, banks can simulate an ATM with bunch note acceptance functionality and test directly from the desktop to ensure the service is fully secure and operative before deployment. All actions are graphically represented, as they would appear on an ATM, so the user can interact with the ATM like a customer.

CPM enables complete end-to-end testing of intelligent cheque deposit, simulating ATMs with cheque processor functionality directly from the desktop to ensure the service is fully secure and operative before deployment. All actions are graphically represented as they would appear on an ATM, so the user can interact with the ATM like a customer.
