LEVEL FOUR APPOINTS GENERAL MANAGER FOR FAST GROWING MIDDLE EAST OPERATION
Middle East continues to form significant share of Level Four’s global expansion strategyLondon and Dubai, 23 January 2006 - Level Four Software, the leading provider of open standards-based ATM testing and development software, has today announced the appointment of Issa Keshek as general manager for the Middle East. Based in Dubai, Keshek will focus primarily on supporting the company’s strong customer base in the region and further establish Level Four’s position as the de facto industry standard for ATM testing and development.
Issa Keshek brings more than fifteen years of payments processing and technology experience to Level Four, mostly gained in the Middle East. Issa worked for NCR Corporation for 12 years and in his latest position as programme director, Issa was responsible for a $21million business unit operating across Europe, Middle East and Africa. Other previous roles include business manager for the Enterprise Group at Microsoft Corporation in Dubai and regional sales and marketing manager for the Middle East at CR2, a banking software solution provider.
“As general manager, Issa will continue the development of the Middle East operation as a fully-fledged sales, marketing and technical support centre, with full responsibility for managing local software delivery and support,” said Martin Macmillan, CEO of Level Four Software.“ Issa’s strong ATM background combined with his extensive industry and local knowledge makes him a valuable asset to Level Four’s ongoing and future success in the Middle East and as part of our global expansion strategy.”
Level Four has built a sizeable Middle East customer portfolio in just two years including leading Saudi Arabian banks - Banque Saudi Fransi, SAMBA, Arab National Bank, National Commercial Bank and National Bank of Dubai. To deal with the migration to EMV (Europay, Mastercard and VISA) chip cards by the 2006 mandate, banks in the region have turned to Level Four to support the infrastructure for their ATM networks, especially the test tools that play an integral part in quality assurance.
“Level Four is always on the pulse of new trends and the company can address these trends because it has the right products at the right time,” said Issa Keshek, general manager Middle East at Level Four. “With the increased adoption by financial institutions of open standards-based ATM software and the growing global demand in the ATM and self-service market for faster deployment of new functionality, I look forward to helping our existing and prospective Middle East customers seek opportunities to unlock the profit potential of their ATM channel.”
Level Four's Dubai regional office acts as a hub to provide representation, sales, local support and training for customers implementing products within the Level Four ATM Channel Development Suite around the Middle East and North Africa. It facilitates product customisations and development to support the local needs of Middle East customers in both English and Arabic.
Level Four’s success in the Middle East has already made a significant contribution to its overall company growth and supports the company’s goal of being global market leader for open standards-based ATM testing and development software in 2006.
