WINCOR NIXDORF AND LEVEL FOUR OFFER MUTUAL CUSTOMERS FASTER DEPLOYMENT OF ATM UPGRADES

Leading ATM industry players share expertise to benefit retail banks

London, UK, 5 April 2004 - Level Four Software, the leading provider of ATM test and development software, today announced an agreement with Wincor Nixdorf to share ATM specifications of its ProCash ATM software. The companies have aligned to enable Level Four to provide accurate simulation tools of Wincor Nixdorf's ProCash ATM software. Mutual customers will benefit from reduced development project timescales when introducing new and upgraded ATM content.

The agreement enables Level Four to provide ATM test and development tools based upon Wincor Nixdorf 's ProCash NDC and DDC software. Wincor Nixdorf is the world's third largest provider of cash solutions and its ProCash family addresses the full spectrum of cash system applications. As the leader in open standards for ATMs, Wincor Nixdorf was the first to incorporate the Windows® operating system throughout the ProCash product line.

Level Four's ATM Channel Development Suite enables ATM content to be modified quickly and effortlessly using a simple graphical interface. Level Four help automate testing by providing a PC based "virtual ATM" based upon Wincor Nixdorf's ATM specifications, reducing human error and increasing certainty before deployment. The software also helps banks to increase security, reduce exposure to fraud and assist the migration of their ATM network to support changing industry standards.
