LEVEL FOUR AMERICAS LAUNCHES TRADE UP PROGRAM FOR ATM NETWORK MANAGERS TO UPGRADE THEIR EXISTING TESTING TOOLS.
All competitive products eligible for Trade Up to the Level Four ATM Channel Development Suite
MIAMI, February 1, 2005 - Level Four Software, the leading provider of ATM and POS testing and development software, today launched a Trade Up program for new customers in North America, the Caribbean and Latin America. This program enables companies who have already invested in ATM testing and development software to leverage their investments by trading in their existing software for Level Four's more advanced products.
Financial institutions and ATM networks are under increasing pressure to improve ATM functionality. From automation in the branch to upgrading traditional 'green screen' cash dispensers, coupled with recent technological advancements - conversion to MS Windows, introduction of Triple-DES and EMV, support of open standards such as XFS/IFX as well as the emergence of check scanning - existing ATM test tools are failing to meet demands.
Level Four's Trade Up offering will enable prospective customers to easily and cost effectively migrate to the newest generation of ATM testing tools. This aggressive move by Level Four, which launched its American operation at the end of 2004, is technology agnostic and available to any ATM deployer currently using automated testing tools from other vendors.
"For ten years, we have invested heavily in the development of our next-generation product suite and have proven, with seamless installations into many of the leading ATM networks in Europe and the Middle East, that we provide the most sophisticated and easily integrated testing tools," said Jorge Fernandez, president and CEO of Level Four Americas.
"The beauty of the Level Four product suite is that it is modular, which means we can tailor our offering to suit the needs of each customer. With the Trade Up program, network managers can discover how our products can positively impact their efficiency and customer service. A faster and safer time to market for new functionality is critical to competitive advantage."
Level Four's ATM Channel Development Suite is a comprehensive toolset providing simple customization of ATM screens, rapid development of new ATM applications and end-to-end testing of the ATM network. Its automated testing and development tools can simulate the most complex of ATM environments, which makes them highly suitable to tackle the complexities of EMV and Triple-DES compliance, as well as simpler updates to ATM content and downloads. Modules available via Trade Up include:
· ATM Developer, ATM Simulator and ATM Reporter
· EMV Fast Track, 3DES Fast Track
· Bunch Note Acceptor
· Load Group Manager
· Check Processing Module
· ATM Network Stress Tester
· ATM Host Simulator
Implementations will be negotiated on a case-by-case basis, depending on the customer's existing technical environment. For more information on how to Trade Up with Level Four, please email tradeup@levelfour.com.
Level Four's Miami office will act as a hub to provide local support and training for customers wishing to Trade Up with Level Four. It will facilitate product customizations and development to support the local needs of Americas' customers in both English and Spanish.
