NOMAD SOFTWARE AND LEVEL FOUR ALIGN TO OFFER PROGRESSIVE ATM SOLUTIONS

Customers will benefit from integrated products that offer complete ATM testing solution

London, 1 December 2003 - Level Four Software, a leading provider of ATM test and development software today announced that it has signed a co-marketing agreement with leading European card payment solution provider NOMAD Software. The agreement enables Level Four to promote its ATM tools to NOMAD Software's growing client base in Eastern and Central Europe, a target region for Level Four's continued business expansion in 2004.

By partnering with Level Four, NOMAD Software can add further value to its banking customers by introducing Level Four's extensive toolset of integrated modules that enable the rapid deployment of new ATM functionality and full end-to-end testing of ATM networks. This is particularly useful for banks and financial institutions wanting to adopt new industry regulations to ensure that they are forward compliant.

NOMAD Software has several UK customers, but is notably the dominant supplier of card payments processing software in Poland, Romania, the Balkan and Baltic States. Both NOMAD Software and Level Four are keen to expand their presence in Central and Eastern Europe and will build upon NOMAD Software's existing stronghold in this region to expand the reach of their respective solutions.

Level Four's software supports NOMAD CORTEX, NOMAD Software's core transaction processing and switching solution, enabling banks to test high volumes of both magnetic stripe and EMV smart card transactions quickly and efficiently. Financial institutions deploying NOMAD CORTEX can simulate full end-to-end transaction testing directly from a card, through the ATM and up to the host system using Level Four's ATM Channel Development Suite.

NOMAD Software is already very progressive in its development of EMV ready solutions, with its entire NOMAD CORTEX solution set fully EMV-enabled. By working with Level Four, NOMAD Software can offer customers a faster migration path to adopting new solutions using Level Four's EMV FastTrack tool. EMV FastTrack provides automated testing from a desktop environment, enabling fast and thorough testing schedules that help minimize a bank's exposure to risk.
