LEVEL FOUR PARTNERS WITH I-DESIGN
Level Four Partners with I-Design to provide banks with greater flexibility to enhance visual content on ATM screens
London, 4 November 2003 - Level Four Software, a provider of best-of-breed ATM test and development software, today announced a partnership with i-design, a specialist in ATM user-interface design and ATM advertising infrastructure software. The partnership will enable i-design to utilise Level Four's ATM Channel Development Suite to better illustrate to financial institutions the ease with which new branded screens can be added to their ATM network. Level Four will benefit from advanced content being made available for product demonstrations as well as from joint sales and marketing opportunities.
The ATM channel is an untapped resource for banks looking for creative marketing opportunities and more effective customer contact. Time and technology constraints are the main barriers to adding enhanced graphical content to ATMs.
Level Four's products enables financial institutions to test and configure ATM content directly from a desktop PC. The development process includes referencing custom branded graphics such as those provided by i-design. I-design's Interface design service allows banks to quickly and easily add graphics to the ATM network, creating a customised experience and opening up the opportunity for on-screen advertising through i-design's ATM:ad solution. Together with Level Four's tools this will lead to a much faster time to market for new ATM sequences and improved branding opportunities at the ATM.
Richard Swinfen, Technical Director at i-design comments, "Many customers' main contact with their bank is through the ATM, so a consistent, branded on-screen presence is vitally important. i-design can help banks that are looking to enhance the user experience at the ATM through the introduction of graphical user interfaces and on-screen advertising. Utilising Level Four's highly visual development and testing technology will allow us to better illustrate to banks the potential of the ATM channel."
Martin Macmillan, CEO, Level Four Software adds "The self-service user-interface services that i-design provide are complementary to Level Four's ATM Channel Development Suite, in particular our ATM Developer product. By incorporating visuals from i-design into our product demonstrations, we are able to improve the visual representation of the virtual ATM interface and enable our prospective customers to visualise more easily how their ATM networks can incorporate a sophisticated branded ATM experience."
Level Four's primary software technology is the ATM Channel Development Suite - a comprehensive toolkit that allows financial institutions to develop, test and rapidly deploy new content and applications within their ATM delivery channels. It includes ATM Simulator, ATM Developer and the EMV FastTrack and 3DES FastTrack plug-ins. 3DES FastTrack is designed to help banks prepare their ATM networks for compliance with the Triple-DES security standard, and supports remote key management functions and Encrypted PIN Pad (EPP) devices.
