Alaric Systems licenses Level Four's ATM Channel Development Suite
to automate testing and enhance internal product development
London, 11 November, 2002 - Level Four Software, a leading provider of ATM test and development software today announced that UK-based Alaric Systems has licensed its ATM Channel Development Suite to accelerate in-house product development.
Level Four's software enables Alaric to view and test ATM downloads directly from a PC as if using a real ATM. It connects as a virtual ATM to Alaric's Authentic switching system, enabling it to test typical transaction scenarios in an automated environment. Full pre-release testing is automated, which rapidly increases speed to market of new product development. As processes are automated and manual testing is eliminated, efficiency is significantly improved and the risk associated with human error is dramatically reduced.

With Level Four, Alaric is now able to develop, test and release new editions of its ATM management software without needing multiple real ATMs at its premises. New enhancements can now undergo rigorous regression testing in an automated environment. Manageability is much more straightforward providing a high degree of assurance in new software prior to customer implementation. By using the software internally, Alaric's customers can also expedite acceptance testing of new software releases.
