ATM Developer provides advanced transaction reporting capabilities at both a technical and business level. This essential management tool automates the capture of ATM transaction data to enable fast and accurate generation of reports. Consistency across disciplines is simplified as both technical and business related documents are produced from one report.
From a management perspective, detailed reporting is required for regulatory purposes and in many cases for internal procedures. From a technical perspective, the ability to document a configuration file, including the message flows and relationships between screens, enables a much deeper understanding than previously possible. The ability to record new ATM sequences for approval also dramatically increases implementation times.
Level Four's ATM Developer ensures a rapid return on investment through massive savings in the time taken to produce accurate records of ATM transactions. Both Banks and payments processors benefit from an easier signoff process of new transactions by being able to share these electronically with internal or external customers.
Business Capabilities
ATM Reporter enables actual ATM transactions to be recorded and replayed as a real-time animated show, either at the workstation or across a corporate intranet. This enables proposed amendments to be viewed easily by other staff members for comment and approval. It is possible to see exactly how the transactions would appear on a high street ATM, including all card interactions and button pushes. A stopwatch indicates the timing of each transaction and sound can even be included to enhance the user experience.
Technical Capabilities
Through its technical trace function, ATM Developer enables a developer to automatically generate clear HTML or Word technical reports of an ATM configuration file. Transactions can be recorded in real time and then analysed to increase the developer's understanding of the transaction message flows. It includes all button presses, state entry and exits, screen data, message data and terminal status messages.
